Local workflow

Use Node.js 22.12+, pnpm 10 and an independent PostgreSQL database. Preserve the upstream MIT license.

1. Copy your template repository into a separate site directory; run pnpm install --frozen-lockfile.
2. Run pnpm init:site: creates .env.local only if absent, generates private independent auth/cron secrets, never prints or overwrites them; does not create accounts/databases.
3. Set your DATABASE_URL and run pnpm check:env. The initial placeholder DB URL deliberately fails validation.
4. Verify the target DB, back up existing data, then run pnpm db:migrate. Do not casually use db:push on existing data.
5. Edit config/site.ts, config/content.ts and config/billing.ts; run pnpm dev.
6. English /, Chinese /zh, tool /tools/text-stats.

All tool execution requires login; signup includes 300 credits. The AI demos need your Volcano Engine key; text statistics does not.
